Our Together page has resources for families and children to enjoy during Holy Week. Take a look or see our Facebook page where you can also let us know how you are getting on.
A video of this week’s Sunday Service is up on our YouTube channel. Don’t forget that you can subscribe to our channel and you’ll be notified every time we upload something.
Today we will be using our Facebook page to broadcast our Sunday service. We have also put some materials for families on our Together page.
St John’s is ready to provide some quiet space for personal reflection. We hope to open the church on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday between 10am and 12 noon. To protect the well-being of our volunteers we will need everyone to follow the current safe distancing guidance of staying a couple of meters apart, and all the hygiene measures (like washing your hands, using hand sanitiser, sneezing into your elbow, and using and binning tissues). Things might change again if government advice changes, but for now we are glad to be able to offer this peaceful place for personal prayer.
Together has been launched to help our church and our parish community in Long Eaton to stay connected during the current period.
We are meeting virtually online each evening at 7pm with a reflection live-streamed on our facebook page. If you miss it you can catch up via YouTube.
For more see our Together page.
Following the Church of England’s statement, St John’s church services are suspended until further notice.
The church halls are also closed and any queries about current or future bookings can be sent to the church office.
The November Magazine is here.

Messy Church is back after the summer break and we look forward to welcoming you all on Monday 16th September at 3:30pm.
Messy Church is a relaxed event aimed at families with young children. We start with lots of hands on activities followed by a Bible story. We finish with a simple picnic tea.
